Amy Lou Adams, full name Amy Lou Adams (born 20 August 1974, Aviano Italy), American actress. She is known for portraying naive characters that are adorable and enjoyable. Adams was the daughter of an U.S. Army officer in Italy and grew to be a resident of Castle Rock Colorado. In the late 1990s, she started professional dance and acting at Boulder's Dinner Theatre and Country Dinner Playhouse. Then she was in Minnesota and at a local theater, she was cast as a character in the mock documentary about beauty pageants titled Drop Dead Gorgeous. Her role as Norma was featured in various popular films throughout time, like Alfred Hitchcock's Psycho from 1960 and Living It Up, a Martin and Lewis film that was released in the year 1954.
