Emily VanCamp
Emily Irene VanCamp (Canadian actress) is most well-known for her leading roles in numerous television shows, however, she also has impressive roles on film. Her work is well-known on both Canadian and American television. Emily's passion for acting started in the year 12 she visited their sister Katie who was shooting one of Katie's movies. Once she discovered her passion in the world of acting she enrolled herself in classes to learn about it and started to audition. In the beginning, she scored a handful of commercials, and then was selected for the Canadian children's television show Are You Afraid of the Dark? where she was seen in just one scene without any dialog. Her debut break came around the age of 15 when she got a role on the WB's Glory Days as a regular. Even though the show was cancelled after nine episodes Emily's performance was noticed by Dawson's Creek writer Greg Berlanti who decided to cast her in his TV show Everwood. Emily, who is also an artist and ballerina, was praised by Teen magazine as one of the most talented actresses under the age of 20. The actress was named number 51 in the Maxim's Hot 100 list of 2014.
