Eve Maughan was born November 22, 1982 in London England. She is the daughter the Trevor Eve and Sharon Maughan's. Jack and George were her two younger brothers. Eve was born and raised in England and Los Angeles. She graduated from Bedales School after which she completed her A Levels with Westminster School. During her gap year she studied at the Beverly Hills Playhouse and then read English in St Catherine's College Oxford. While at Oxford she acted in the student productions like An Ideal Husband Animal Crackers (which was a tour to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival) Scenes from an Execution as well as The Colour of Justice. Eve's credits on television include BBC show The Rotters Club Poirot Hawking and the film Stage Beauty (2004). Eve had a prominent role in two films from 2006: Starter for 10 and Big Nothing (with both she along with her co-star Simon Pegg using American accents). At the start in 2006 she was spending her time in India for work on the film Losing Gemma which is a mini-series focusing on backpackers. Eve played in two Trevor Nunn-directed plays. She reprised her role in 2007's The Broadway's Broadway Transfer of Rock n Roll by Tom Stoppard. At the Whatsonstage.com Theatregoers' choice Awards the actress was awarded a nomination as best supporting actor for the role she played. Her birthplace was in a mixed-race family, with an Indo British father Anthony Mitra of British descent and an Indian mother Nora Downey. She is an English actress, who is aged middle and has two brothers. Jason Mitra (older brother) and Guyan Mitra (younger brother). Her younger brother is who is a renowned travel writer, whose writings have appeared on the pages of Lonely Planet magazine and The Sunday Times.
